At Little Sparrows we work as a mixed age group making us unique to most Nurseries in our area. We believe that in a mixed age group children learn from each other, take on roles of responsibility and learn how to care and develop compassion and empathy for others.

Carefully plan the environment and curriculum to support each child's stage of development

Encourage children to be independent by helping to grow their own vegetables and tidying up and meal times and activities

Minimise interruptions so children can develop a deep level of learning which sends a positive message that completing work is important
