About Us

Who We Are

We are a small individual day nursery registered with Ofsted to cater for 27 children. Our Ofsted inspections can be viewed on the Ofsted website where it can be seen that we have enjoyed Good reports with many aspects of Little Sparrows being outstanding. Little Sparrows is a partnership between Cheryl Traczyk, who holds a Montessori and NNEB qualification and is responsible for the Child Care Management side of the business and Heather Bish who is responsible for the Business/Administrative Management side. Both partners are passionate about Little Sparrows and the quality of childcare and education it delivers.

Our Team

We have a Team of 10 staff. Our nursery nurses are fully qualified, holding recognised childcare qualification of level 3 or above and our nursery assistants have many years experience in childcare. All our staff are rigorously checked and hold enhanced disclosures after having checks undertaken by the Criminal Records Bureau.

Our cook who has many years experience is responsible for preparing and cooking a well balanced nutritious diet for the children. The children also enjoy eating many of the vegetables and fruits they have grown at various parts of the year.
